CANTON, Ohio — Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher will be immortalized forever in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Super Bowl-winning coach was told by the Hall’s President & CEO David Baker during Saturday's broadcast of The NFL Today, where Cowher has worked since retiring from coaching, that he was selected as a member of the Centennial Slate for the Class of 2020. The special expanded class is being selected as part of the National Football League's 100th season.
Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — A well-known, international home building organization is looking to expand one of its services in Centre County. Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that specializes in building affordable housing, often through the work of volunteers. In Centre County, the organization’s new “Whole Home Repair Program” won’t involve constructing new housing. Instead, it’s aimed at providing assistance in substantial home improvement projects, such as new roofing, windows, or similar upgrades.

Rozzi led the support for the Democrat's original pick to be speaker, Rep. Joanna McClinton, D-Philadelphia, who won the election in the chamber shortly after he gave up his post.
CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — A 14-year-old boy who is accused of shooting and killing a 12-year-old girl late last month made an appearance in Clearfield County court on Friday. Aaron Klingensmith allegedly told state troopers that he pointed a gun at the girl and shot her on April 28th. Klingensmith also allegedly told investigators that he has an understanding of guns and gun safety. Authorities say he allegedly retrieved the gun from the top of a gun safe in the living room of a Brady Township home, along Bearfield Road.

State College, PA (WJAC) — The State College area is getting a new hospital in the coming months as Penn Highlands expands into Centre County. This will be Penn Highlands ninth hospital in the state. They currently have six locations in our coverage area and are now expanding to State College. Representatives from the hospital say that construction will be finished in late spring and that they are planning to open this coming summer.
State College, PA (WJAC) — State College Borough's plan to demolish an iconic bar in town, The Brewery, to make way for more parking is sparking controversy. At this week's borough council meeting, the council approved measures to use eminent domain to acquire the building where the Brewery and other businesses are located.
