JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — A Johnstown church is shutting its doors after serving the community for almost 150 years. This Sunday will be the last service for Trinity United Methodist Church. The head trustee says membership has declined significantly and board members have talked over the past couple of years about closing the church. HUNTINGDON, Pa. (WJAC) — Huntingdon County has seen a steady increase in cases for weeks, but Thursday the county’s totals jumped significantly. The Department of Corrections is reporting 108 cases among inmates at SCI Huntingdon. Huntingdon County EMA Director Joe Thompson says he’s been in constant contact with both the Department of Corrections and the Department of Health during the pandemic and the one day spike in cases isn’t as alarming as it may seem.

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Driving through the city of Johnstown you may have noticed a new addition near the Johnstown Police Department. Officers created a safe exchange zone along Washington Street. The purpose of the parking area is to allow people to sell or exchange items safely, such as buying items off Facebook Marketplace or child custody drop offs. The zone was created in response to a Facebook marketplace meet up which turned deadly earlier this month.

So, WJAC-TV decided to take a look back at the Pittsburgh Steelers' May 2004 mini camp--the first practices for rookie quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Earlier in the spring, the Steelers selected Roethlisberger with the 11th overall pick in the NFL Draft. He came to Pittsburgh as a bright-eyed rookie.
