DUBOIS- "Breaking Amish" star Chapel Schmuker-Peace had a preliminary hearing at Magistrate Patrick Ford's office Friday. Friday's hearing stemmed from an undercover drug deal in January of 2015. Peace was recently charged for the 2015 incident in March, during a drug sweep in DuBois called 'Operation Ice Storm.' Peace is known for appearing on the first two seasons of 'Breaking Amish.' For the 2015 drug deal, Peace was charged with manufacture of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and criminal conspiracy.
EBENSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — Police say an Ebensburg man is facing charges for impersonating a Department of Homeland Security officer and brandishing a gun to a Walmart shopper who wasn’t wearing a mask, according to a criminal complaint. According to the Cambria Township Police Department, 72-year-old Michael Baglio has been charged for impersonating a public servant and making terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another. Officers were called May 17 after a woman reported that an older man had approached her while she was shopping, told her he was an officer with the Department of Homeland Security, brandished a gun and said, “it would be in your best interest if you wore a mask,” according to the complaint.

A new report from the Pew Research Center shows that 77% of Black voters would pick Biden over former President Donald Trump if the election were held now. RICHLAND TOWNSHIP – Two people died in an overnight shooting in Richland Township, according to police. Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees said the case is being treated as a murder-suicide. Cambria County dispatch officials said they received a call that two people had been shot in front of a townhomes in the Aspen Woods complex around midnight. That complex was formerly known as Arbutus Village. Lees said one person was pronounced dead at the scene and the other died after being taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) — A fire consumed a building in Clearfield County on Sunday morning. The blaze gutted the old Clearfield Glass shop, leaving it a shell of tin and charred wood. Clearfield County Dispatch told 6 News there were, fortunately, no injuries. Dispatch also told us crews were called to the old Clearfield Glass on Turnpike Ave. in Lawrence Township around 6:40am. A 30-year resident of the neighborhood across the road told 6 News that's around the time when he first noticed the fire.
CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Police say a Glenside man is facing charges for sexually assaulting a Penn State student. Joshua Robinson faces felony sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault without consent. Penn State University police say they were called to the hospital in February to speak to the victim. They say the victim explained that she met Robinson at an off-campus party and when they went back to his room, he violently assaulted her.
