A Butler County man is facing animal cruelty charges after police discovered two dead German Shepherds, which led to 50 animals being removed from his home Saturday, state police said.
According to a criminal complaint, a K-9 Deputy stopped at the General Butler Vagabonds to let their K-9 out to urinate.
State police said that the K-9 immediately led the deputy outside of the parking lot area where two black garbage bags were discovered.

The approval means Idaho representatives want to begin talks about relocating the Oregon-Idaho border, which is something many people in eastern Oregon have been waiting for.
The "Greater Idaho" movement proposes that nearly everything east of the Cascades - except Bend - becomes part of Idaho. Currently, there are eleven Oregon counties supporting the move.
CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities in Cambria County say an investigation is underway after a human skull was reportedly found Thursday night near the Little Conemaugh River in Conemaugh Township.
Officials with the coroner's office say the skull was reportedly found by a fisherman around 8 p.m.
Investigators say they are focusing on identifying the remains at this time.
Cambria County coroner Jeff Lees says his office is working with a forensic pathologist, a dentist and an anthropologist to identify the skull.

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Officials say a “distressed” aircraft had to make an emergency landing Monday afternoon at the Johnstown airport.
First responders were put on standby after officials said the pilot notified air traffic control of a landing gear issue.
Authorities say the rear landing gear would not lock into place.
Local first responders were called to the airport as the plane circled above to burn fuel before coming in for what's called a “belly landing.

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Johnstown police have filed homicide charges against an inmate at SCI Houtzdale in connection to a 2022 fatal shooting and car crash in Moxham.
Police say 21-year-old Gary Hill has been charged in connection to the death of 42-year-old Timothy Harrison.
Authorities say Harrison was found shot inside a wrecked vehicle, in the area of Charles Street and Park Avenue, on Feb. 18, 2022.
Investigators say Harrison had reportedly suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Conemaugh Hospital where he later died in the operating room.
