WASHINGTON (TND) — The Professional Women's Hockey League and Molson are teaming up to increase women's visibility in the sport. This week, the PWHL and beverage company announced a multi-year partnership and updated jersey design through the "See My Name" campaign, to bring more recognition to the league's players. Molson decided to sponsor the space above the jersey numbers, which are typically covered by players' hair, in recognition of the sport and International Women's Day.
Pittsburgh, Pa (WJAC) — According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to promote quarterback coach Matt Canada to be the team's next offensive coordinator.
Canada, a former collegiate coach, was hired this past offseason and previously served as the offensive coordinator for the University of Pittsburgh in 2016.
Earlier this week, the Steelers announced the decision to NOT renew the contracts of three coaches, including OC Randy Fichtner.
WASHINGTON (TND) — The impact may not be known for decades, but the population of undocumented migrants living in the United States appears to have more than doubled in the last three years.
Since the start of 2021, U.S. Customs and Border Protection reports that 9.6 million migrants have been encountered, with another 1.7 million estimated “gotaways,” bringing the total to 11.3 million.
Around 10.2 million were estimated to live in the United States at the end of 2020.
