WASHINGTON (AP) — The United States is expected to announce an additional $275 million in military aid for Ukraine on Friday as Kyiv struggles to hold off advances by Russian troops in the Kharkiv region, two U.S. officials say.
This will be the fourth installment of military aid for Ukraine since Congress passed a long-delayed foreign aid bill late last month and comes as the Biden administration has pledged to keep weapons flowing regularly and to get them to the front lines as quickly as possible.

Johnstown joined the Prospect League as an expansion team and played their first game in May of 2021.
Now, they’ve disappeared from the league’s website without any announcement from the league or team owners.
An old screen capture of the website shows them listed in the teams’ section, but when we checked recently – we found nothing.

Penn State Altoona celebrated a historic program in Blair County, with the college officially commemorating an agreement with the Railroader’s Memorial Museum in Altoona that will enhance their rail transportation engineering bachelor’s program.
Officials said the program is the only one of its kind in the entire nation, and that 100% of students in the program were able to get jobs in the industry within a month of graduating.
Ron Darbeau, Penn State Altoona Chancellor and Dean, said, “Penn State Altoona is looking to expand the RTE program, we’re trying to make this a destination spot of any rail enthusiasts, to be a great place to bring in K-12 students, and to move more folks into the rail industry which remains the backbone of the transportation industry in the country.
